About Us
Established in July, 2018, Philharmonic Orchestra of Texas was formed to provide talented instrumentalists with the opportunity to cover the gap between school and professional orchestras. The tough professional world requires experience and these artists are given the opportunity to perform professionally under the philharmonic wing. Established & Founded by Maestro Luis Rodriguez, the philharmonic has brought to the table a unique experience for their former and present members, performing all over the DFW metro area! This unique ensemble has participated in various concerts including a concert benefitting the relief efforts for the Mexican earthquake in September, 2017 also partnering with Arapaho United Methodist Church in several concerts. They have performed along with Classical Fusion's production of Dido And Aeneas in Richardson Texas. Other performances include a season of six performances of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater!
