We work with only the best music instructors in North Texas, many of whom play for symphonies and orchestras, teach in schools or perform with traditional groups that tour internationally. Background checks are conducted on all teachers.
You Can Learn to Play Anything!
We can match you with expert instructors for most instruments. If you wish to learn a different instrument, supplement your lessons with voice training, or sign up multiple family members simultaneously, we will strive to accommodate your request.
Piano Lessons
Our program's instructors teach all skill levels from beginners to experienced piano players that want to bring their performance to a higher level. Students will learn to read and write music and develop these skills along with proper ear training and site reading. Students will also learn to express emotion through their music while mastering techniques like tempo, timbre and intonation.
Voice Lessons
Find your voice through professional voice lessons from In Home Music Teachers. Learn valuable warm up exercises that will help reduce vocal strain and injury. Students will develop the skills necessary to shape their voice with roundness of sound, resonation and increased vocal tone and find their own unique sound. Students will also work with their private voice instructor on sight-reading and ear training to deepening their understanding of the music before bringing it to life in song.
Guitar Lessons
During private guitar lessons, students learn to identify the parts of the guitar, correct tuning and how the notes are laid out on the fret board. Our professional guitar instructors also teach the proper way to hold a guitar, hand positioning, strumming and finger picking as dexterity increases. Students learn to play notes, build chords and learn music theory which gives them the foundation they need to play a wide variety of musical styles.

Ovation Academy was founded to provide a home for performers to pursue their passion of the Arts through professional style training which provides the technique, life-skills, experiences and connections necessary to succeed in the industry. We focus on each individual student and their unique journey. Ovation Academy strives to produce knowledgeable, respectful, empathetic and impactful artists who will contribute to their communities and to the performing arts industry.
